Children’s unit gets state-of-the-art roof with Euro Quality Cladding
Euro Quality Cladding (EQC) has supplied a standing seam roof for the new Paediatric Unit at Craigavon Area Hospital in County Armagh, Northern Ireland.
EQC seam aluminium profile in pre-painted PVDF and Organic Patina was used to meet the architect’s design criteria, delivering on aesthetic appeal, performance and functionality. Aluminium site welding and welded cranks were also incorporated as part of the design detail.
EQC seam systems comfortably deliver specified air tightness, sound reduction and thermal performance. The non-combustible mineral wool insulation provides excellent fire performance.
With a striking look and combination of different materials, the new development is an aesthetically-pleasing and durable addition to Craigavon Hospital campus.
