SIPCO’s award-winning project featured in Grand Designs magazine
SIPCO (Structural Insulated Panels Company) scooped the top award in the ‘Best use of SIPS’ category at the Structural Timber Awards for the company’s involvement in 40 Hill Road, a self-build project in Essex.
With more 70 entries in this category, SIPCO’s success is testament to its ability to help create an outstanding, energy-efficient home, through excellent collaborative working.
It’s fantastic to win this award, especially considering the high calibre of the competition. This project in particular provides a fantastic platform to showcase the benefits and capabilities of SIPS construction.
Pete Barr, Director of SIPCO
The 40 Hill Road project began as a small building plot and a 1950s bungalow. It has now been developed into a remarkable, contemporary three-storey family home. With three grown-up children living at home, the Smith family now has a place of sanctuary where all can live harmoniously together, with their own space.
The project featured in the Grand Designs magazine.
