A CE certified face visor for healthcare providers, essential workers and those who have to work in close contact with others.
The Resource R122 face visor is a disposable/single-use face visor for medical use and is classed as Category III Personal Protective Equipment [PPE] by the European PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. It has been shown to comply with this Regulation through independent testing against the Harmonised European Standard EN 166:2001. It is also CE certified.
Made from 100% recyclable materials, the visor offers a highly cost-effective solution for medical professionals or personal use. The R122 is suitable for healthcare providers, essential workers and those who have to work in close contact with others. Designed to sit away from the face, it is suitable for use with glasses, prescription lenses and protective masks.
We're supporting Marie Curie Wales by donating 25p from every sale of the R122 face visor to aid their brilliant work in our communities.
This product is designed to provide protection against contact with airborne droplets that may constitute a biological hazard.
We responded to the Government call for UK companies to help with shortage of PPE and identified that we had the design and manufacturing capability to design and develop a face visor that would be low cost and able to be quickly produced in bulk in the UK. Above all, we ensured the face visor would meet test standards to demonstrate it was safe for use by the NHS workforce.
We're committed to helping Marie Curie Wales carry out their vital work in our local communities.
Every year in Wales, Marie Curie Nurses and the Marie Curie Hospice work tirelessly to provide expert care and support to over 3,500 people living with a terminal illness.
Their work - which includes palliative care, volunteering, campaigning and research - helps people living with any terminal illness, and their families, make the most of the time they have left.
We're proud to be supporting Marie Curie Wales with a donation of 25p for every R122 face visor sold.

Partner companies under the Resource Group umbrella have also been doing their bit. Inspired by a local resident, Ashley Jay, who had been making face shields on his 3D printers at home and giving them away free to the NHS and local care homes, the Chairman of Resource, Nick Williams, assembled a team to manufacture a high quality single-use face shield for the healthcare sector and others working on the front line in the community.
In just a few days, the team turned an existing staff gym facility at Wentloog Corporate Park into a 3D print farm, with 50 3D printers bought from Amazon overnight and have since produced thousands of face shields.
Nick Williams said: ”Our motivation has simply been to help save lives during this horrendous pandemic. We have huge experience in manufacturing and a long track record of running successful businesses in Cardiff and beyond, so if we can help save just one life in our community, that would be wonderful.”
We're thrilled to report that we've exceeded our own production targets and are currently producing one COVID-19 PPE face visor every 6 seconds.
Using injection moulding machines, the R122 face visors are being manufactured at the rate of one every 6 seconds.
Watch our short video to see the machines in action - these were designed and installed in two weeks in partnership with injection moulding experts, Plunkett Associates.
Our face visor production line is thanks to the combined efforts and assets of multiple Resource companies:
